Guests often appreciate the convenient location near the sea and harbor, making it easy to reach attractions like the ferry terminal and paddle steamer Waverley. The rooms are generally considered comfortable, featuring amenities such as tea and coffee-making facilities, and adjustable heating. While some have noted that the structure and especially the bathroom appear old and could benefit from updates, the proximity to affordable parking is a definite plus for many.

cozy stay

convenient locationcoffee facilitiesadjacent car parklittle space
the location proved very convenient, near local cafes. i found the room clean with tea and coffee. the adjacent pay car park was useful.
The room was very small. I felt there was very little space.
Facilities
9/10
the guesthouse provides a pay and display car park right next to the hotel, so parking was very accessible. inside, i noted that tea and coffee making facilities were available. it was nice to have that little extra.
Rooms
8/10
The double room had a sink inside, a nice surprise, despite a shared bathroom. the room provided a clean environment. although on the smaller side, the room met expectations for a short trip. It was comfortable enough.
